Where do downloaded TikToks go on iPhone?
Safari saves downloads to the Downloads folder of the Files app – on your iPhone or in iCloud Drive, depending on Settings → Safari → Downloads. Open Files → Browse → Downloads, tap and hold the video, choose Share → Save Video and it appears in your Photos library.
We prefer H.264 streams when TikTok offers several, because every iPhone plays them. The file is a normal MP4 without TikTok watermark.
If something does not work
- Nothing happens after “Download”: use Safari (iOS 13 or newer). Browsers built into apps – for example inside TikTok or Instagram – often cannot save files. Open the page in Safari instead.
- You cannot find the file: open the Files app and look in Downloads, or tap the download arrow in Safari’s address bar.
- The link is rejected: copy the link of the video itself, not the profile. See also the TikTok downloader page.
