Video pins and Idea pins are saved as MP4. For image pins, BestDownloader picks the largest version Pinterest has – not the small 236 or 736 pixel previews you see while scrolling.
- Video pins – MP4 in the best available quality
- Image pins – the original-size picture as JPG
- Short links – pin.it links and pinterest.com links, including country domains (pinterest.de, pinterest.co.uk …)
Good to know
- Boards and profiles cannot be downloaded in one go – open a pin and paste its link.
- Some pins only embed a video from another website (for example YouTube). Those cannot be downloaded here; BestDownloader only saves media that is hosted on Pinterest itself.
- Please credit the creator when you share their work and ask before you re-post it. See the Terms of Use.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download a Pinterest video?
Open the pin, tap Share → Copy link, paste the link into BestDownloader and tap Download. The video is saved as an MP4.

Yes. For image pins we save the largest version Pinterest provides as a JPG.
Can I download a whole Pinterest board?
No, only single pins. Open a pin and paste its link.
Why does a pin say there is nothing to download?
The pin may only link to another website, embed a video that is hosted elsewhere (like YouTube), or it was removed.
Do I need a Pinterest account?
No. Paste the link – there is no login and no registration.
